IT – Monitor/Performance Engineer

We are seeking an IT – Monitor/Performance Engineer to join our client. 

Purpose of this Position:

• Keep abreast of changes in standards, technologies or methodologies.
• Connect tasks between Development, QA and Infrastructure teams, and facilitate communication and work in all matters related to customer solution performance.
• Collaborate with IT automation activities.
• Become Subject Matter Expert in knowledge of the environment of customer solutions.
• Design and perform improvements over monitoring systems.

Requirements:

• Experience of at least 5 years working on DevOps/Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of networking and profiling tools.
• Basic security concepts.
• Experience with system management automation tools.
• Understanding, diagnostics and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server OS and Linux OS.
• Knowledge of programming C# and scripting on PowerShell.
• Azure Cloud, Docker, SSIS and IVR management is desired but not required.
• Desirable knowledge on New Relic, SCOM and NET Memory Profiler.

Responsibilities:

• Create documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and services.
• Follow up of performance, analyzing  and proposing improvements on customer solutions.
• Visibility of performance degradation or issues found.
• Develop routines for deploy and monitoring process.
• Prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and help to resolve hardware and software problems on servers, solutions and environments.
• Support application and database architecture teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation systems, applications, and related products.
• Create performance monitoring processes & procedures reporting results.
