Sr Interaction Designer

We are looking for a Sr Interaction Designer to join the team of our client.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 Years experience in with User Experience and Web Design as part of a web or software development team.
• Must provide a portfolio of examples where UX work influenced the course of a project.
• Skilled at rapid prototyping with Adobe Creative Suite, whiteboards and napkins
• Well steeped in market-driven, product management principles
• Great communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for continuous learning in usability principles and techniques
• Strong collaborator with proven ability to effectively rally and inspire both creative professionals and front-end engineers equally
• A strong portfolio of shipping successful software products with distinctive user experiences
• Experience with responsive design across multiple device types and contexts (desktop, mobile, accessories)
• Basic understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery and D3

Responsibilities:

• Promote good user experience through interaction design, information architecture, and
• interface design on Rise’s Connex Platform
• Champion a user-centric, design first culture in new product development
• Invent new ways for non-technical end-user to perform high-context tasks that facilitate data discovery through visualization and analysis
• Promote a data-driven approach for UX instrumentation and optimization
• Create team deliverables (including design rules, user flows, user stories, annotated
• wireframes, visual design, animations, clickable prototypes) that enables software developers to build software that fosters a delightful user experience
• Collaborate with product managers, scrum masters, project managers, engineers, and
• designers throughout the product lifecycle
• Contribute strategically and tactically to evolving market-driven, user-centric products and
• product marketing efforts which clearly communicate the value proposition to partners and end users
• Develop user experience research and usability studies
• Working within an Agile team environment
• Stay abreast of new and innovative trends in the information architecture discipline
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
