Software Engineer / Automation

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test Performance  to join the team of our client.

Requirement:

• Experience with Performance, Load, Stress, End-to-End testing of high transactional distributed Web applications
• Experience using industry standard performance test automation with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter
• Ability to find root cause of performance bottlenecks
• Experience in tackling problems of load, scale, and optimizations of complex large-scale deployments
• Experience with Java or Python
• Comfortable in Unix/Linux environments in terms of both tools and systems administration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, passionate for technology, and strong driver for results and continual improvement
• Team player - work well independently and in multi-group cross-discipline environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Performance engineering and Benchmarking

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to generate workloads and tools to understand and characterize system performance and scalability
• Understand system architecture to identify and isolate problematic areas
• Be the performance guru and owner for  product
• Work with the development team and customer support to find and analyze performance bottlenecks and initiate discussions about improvements in architecture and underlying code
• Own development of automated performance test framework
• Monitor/analyze/catalog the results and ensure that  product hits defined target goals for performance.

English level: Upper Intermediate
