Application Engineer

We are looking for a Application Engineer to join our client.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of real-world job experience developing web applications
• Experience building highly-scalable, interactive web applications with a JavaScript framework, such as React or Angular
• Experience translating mockups to HTML markup and CSS/SASS
• Extremely strong programming skills in JavaScript and an object-oriented, server-side language, such as C# or Java
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs and microservices
• Familiar with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and comfortable with query syntax
• Experienced with source control (Git, SVN, TFS) and issue tracking software
• Previous Experience in agile/scrum environments

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of UI changes across our product base and website
• Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements
• Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers, and analysts to solve problems
• Develop complete front-end stack of projects using HTML/CSS and Javascript frameworks
• Help write new design patterns, improve and adapt existing design component integrations
• Integrate front-end UI with API services
• Set and follow coding standards
• Debug cross-browser compatibility issues
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

English level: Upper intermediate
