SSR/SR Data Engineer

We are looking for a SSR/SR Data Engineer to join the team of our client, someone technical with experience in Java and databases. Who´s proactive, innovative, and enjoys investigating and implementing new solutions and tools.

They´re professional career should be oriented towards developing and implementing machine learning and data science solutions and are interested in working in an area with great potential and growth in projects related to advertising.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or similar degree.
• Experience with programming languages such as: Java And Shell Scripting (Unix/Linux)
• Experience in SQL.
• Experience working in Advertising/Marketing industry
• English upper intermediate

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions that automate operations on a large scale.
• Develop and maintain systems to activate or deactivate advertising campaigns based on machine learning algorithms.
• Develop microservices in maven (spring framework), automate deploys in containers using jenkins.
• Create several data validations process between RDD systems and DataBases.
• Connect micro services to databases and create log systems.
• Monitor performance of Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
• Create and maintain GIT repositories.
• Automate ETL processes with various sources such as SQL databases / NoSQL / APIs.
• Develop pipelines that ingest data.
• Shell scripting, Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop.
• Investigate and propose recommendations to improve processes and tools.
