Technical Lead

We are hiring a Technical Leader to join team our client.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar leadership position
- Strong experience working with software development and QA teams
- Intimate familiarity with SDLC (waterfall, agile, or iterative)
- Strong experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Proficiency in Advanced PHP, MySQL, Frameworks and Design Patterns
- Experience in Frontend Development, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
- Experience in Magento is desirable
- Experience eliciting, writing, and managing requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in other locations and time zones.
- Experience working with any CRM or project management software (Assembla, Zendesk, Salesforce, LiquidPlanner, Jira, Axosoft, 10k Feet, etc)
Responsibilities:
- Lead a development unit and be the technical reference for it
- Train, supervise and evaluate your team
- Determine task assignments and workloads within your unit, taking advantage of each developer's strengths
- Encourage and motivate your team to advance in their professional career, and in getting their Magento certification, according to their specialty
- Identify developers in your team with the potential of becoming a Technical Leader themselves, and be a part of training them into that position as a career plan
- Participate and be directly involved in the analysis, design and architecture of decisions, both in a project level as well as in the company level
- Backend development of highly complex e-commerce functionalities
- Conduct technical audits on highly performant e-commerce sites
- Participate in technical client meetings
- Foster best practices and knowledge exchange with other development units
- Work closely with the other Technical Leaders, the Technical Director and the CTO to identify improvement opportunities within the development lifecycle
