Senior React Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to become part of our team. As a key contributor, you will work with an agile team. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Frontend Engineer with solid experience in React.js.
From an engineering standpoint, you will need to be able to implement new features, as well as understand, work with, and refactor existing code. We are looking for someone that prefers to solve problems in the best way instead of the quickest way and is comfortable enough with development to solve problems on their own. We are a small team, so you must be organized and comfortable working in relative autonomy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years previous experience with Javascript 
• 3+ years previous experience with ReactJS and modern tooling 
• Experience designing and building API’s, as well as working with 3rd party API’s 
• Ability to implement responsive designs and work closely with our designers 
• Proficiency working with Git-based version control 
• Post-secondary education in engineering or computer science or equivalent work experience 
• Proficiency with non-relational databases (specially in-memory key-value stores) 
• Experience with the complete project software stack (Elasticsearch/MariaDB/RabbitMQ/Redis/Grails/AngularJS/ReactJS) 
• Experience working with languages other than Groovy and JavaScript that could bring value to our platform 
• Experience working on content management systems or parts thereof, e.g. WYSIWYG editors 
• Experience in machine learning or other emerging technologies 
• Jira/Confluence
