QA Automation Engineer

Our cliente is a US based software testing company that provides services to many industries, including financial services, insurance, banking, software development, and others.

They have a need for a QA Automation Engineer who has experience with QA processes, test case creation, test planning, defect reporting, triage meetings, is comfortable being a lead or part of a QA team, and able to create new QA processes if required.

Requirements: 

• Ability to create and design test automation and test infrastructure
• Object-Oriented programming skills in C# or Java
• UI Automation using webdriver/Node based frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber desire to learn Protractor/Jasmine)
• REST services automation (any REST services test automation tools such as Postman, RESTAssured etc.
• Console application test automation - C#/Nunit or Java/Junit
• Any load/performance testing framework (Jmeter, K6 etc.)
• Cross-browser test automation framework (a plus)
• Ability to debug test failures/production issues and trace to failing code.
• Understanding of CICD and an ability to support/leverage tools such as Jenkins.
• Build and maintain code repositories (Git/GitLab)
• Understand test metrics and the tools to measure them
• Experience with AWS and services such as CloudWatch, CloudTail, SQS and/or SNS will be a plus.
• Build tools and metrics dashboards by querying data from logging platforms such as SumoLogic or Splunk.
• Agile/Scrum processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain a fully automated testing process across CI/CD pipelines for next-generation
• SaaS applications built on microservices architecture, containers, and AWS infrastructure.
• You will need to be collaborative and influential across our Agile team, working closely with Dev, Product, DevOps, and other teams to automate testing where possible and contribute to our Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.
