XimpleHR is partnering with Room 8 Studio, a globally recognized game development studio, to hire a highly skilled and experienced Realistic 3D Characters Art Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team working on high-end game productions.

Our client is looking for a Realistic 3d Characters Art Director who will be responsible for leading the artistic and strategic development of the team by optimizing workflows, exploring new service opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of team and project goals.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Realistic 3d Characters team lead, project lead or similar position;
  • Strong understanding of artistic and technical aspects of characters creation;
  • Deep industry knowledge;
  • Strong personal artistic and technical skills;
  • High quality standards and artistic taste;
  • Feedback mastery;
  • Strategic thinking, desire to develop the team;
  • Constant self-development and the desire to develop others;
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and solve difficult problems;
  • Good management skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive long-term Realistic 3d Characters team development strategy;
  • Set standards for workflows and processes in collaboration with Team Leads;
  • Work with Sub-Division Director and Team Leads to align goals with overall strategy;
  • Collaborate with Division Art Director and Art Executive Development Director on Sub-Division
  • structure and organization;
  • Initiate and implement changes to policies, workflows, and documentation;
  • Oversee and support strategically important projects;
  • Plan team structure and size based on production needs and recruitment goals;
  • Participate in hiring process: create and assess test tasks, conduct technical interviews, evaluate candidate skills;
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance assessment of Team Leads;
  • Develop and implement onboarding and learning programs for Team Leads and the Sub-Division;
  • Conduct syncs, performance reviews, and mentorship initiatives;
  • Provide feedback to Producers, Project Managers, Team Leads, and other leadership roles;
  • Set development goals and define educational/training needs with Team Leads;
  • Organize workshops and training sessions;
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and team assignment;
  • Resolve technical or artistic challenges and internal team conflicts;
  • Join client calls for project initiation, clarification, or issue resolution;
  • Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement discussions;
  • Define or develop pipelines for complex and strategic projects;
  • Work on complex artistic tasks and guide optimization of processes;
  • Develop project documentation and guides;
  • Oversee the delivery of key project assets to ensure quality;
  • Integrate new tools to enhance project efficiency and team productivity;
  • Represent the Sub-Division in key client meetings and strategic discussions.


Location: Remoto

Time shift: Full time Availability to overlap with the team for at least 4 working hours per day in the EET time zone
